 Accu-Prove is committed to providing an accurate, cost effective and responsive meter proving service to the petroleum industry by utilizing proven technology and highly skilled personnel.

Company Overview

Accu-Prove is a measurement services company that primarily engages in contract meter proving for the petroleum industry.  The company has provided a mobile proving service throughout the province of Alberta since 1988.  In addition  to measurement accuracy, Accu-Prove is  committed  to safety and has operated without a single lost time accident or incident since commencing operations in 1988. 

Equipment

Accu-Prove presently operates a truck mounted 6 inch 600# ANSI bi-directional ball prover capable of operating at pressures up to 10 000 kPa.  This unit meets API specifications and is designed to prove meters at flow rates between 5 m3/hr. and 130 m3/hr.  Prove reports are generated and printed in the field using laptop computers.  The meter proving programs perform calculations according to the applicable API standards.  In situations where the API minimum pulse requirement is not met (10 000 pulses per pass), double pulse chronometry can be performed using an OMNI flow computer.  Historical proving records are maintained in our company database and backed up on removable media.

Additional Services

Although Accu-Prove is primarily a meter proving company, we do endeavor to tailor our services to meet the particular requirements of our clients.  In addition to providing a meter proving service, we offer consulting services on measurement related issues.  We can also provide summaries of historical meter data in graphical or tabular format customized to a client’s needs.
